Confirm the electrical supply
Provide site voltage, frequency and phase before finalizing the configuration. Identify site-specific requirements. Use approved machine documents and a qualified installer for the connection; a catalog description does not replace installation instructions.
Plan access and handling
Review final packing dimensions, weight, unloading method and route into the workshop. Consider doorways, clearance and space for long profiles. Request installation drawings for the exact configuration, including separate cabinets and required supports.
Agree on delivery scope
The quotation should state trade terms, packing, tooling and delivery arrangements. Confirm the documents required for the model and destination. Timing depends on the agreed configuration and schedule, and should be stated in the order rather than assumed from a general website estimate.
Train with real parts
Prepare representative profiles, drawings and agreed tooling for commissioning. SMT provides remote video guidance; on-site commissioning can be arranged with scope and costs agreed in advance. Training is more useful when operators can follow a relevant setup and inspection process.
Keep support information accessible
Retain machine identification, order configuration, electrical drawings and service contacts. The supplied policy includes an 18-month warranty; coverage and terms belong in the agreement. Report issues with clear identification, symptoms and photos or video so the team can assess the next step.
Which machine fits your profile?
Send a drawing or clear section photos, material, wall thickness and target radius. Our engineers will review the job and recommend a machine and tooling arrangement.
